Hand built white stoneware sculpture inspired by the historic flood planes of the River Thames and the fossilised remnants of ancient trees that can still be found along the foreshore to this day.

Found glass washed up by the tide was used to create a pool of water in the based of the sculpture surrounding the tree trunks and fixing them in place.

 

Fully frost proof.

 

Fired to 1260°C.
